Andrean bears grow to be up to 5-6 feet long and stand to be 2-3 feet high at the shoulder, males grow larger than the femals and weigh around 340 pounds and females rarely grow heavier than 180 pounds. And each bear has its own cool white colored markings on its head, throat, and chest.
Andrean Bears live in a variety of mountain habitats. Many live between 6,000 to 8,800 feet above sea level, the weather conditions over there can be rainforests, cloud forests, mossy stunted elfin forest, and thoryny dry dorest.
The Andean bear can be said as a endangered animal because of its agriculture like illegaql logging, and mining. It is also threatened by climate change which changes the high altitude forests where it lives.
I pickeed the Andrean bear because it looks really cool and it is interesting animal to learn and how these animals live in such mountanious environments and its different markings on its head plus its not really a known animal so not your average will know about this type of bear which makes learning about him even more interesting.
